I shoot in locations that feel natural to your family, your home, a favourite park, the beach, Dublin's Georgian squares, or anywhere that has meaning for you. For newborn sessions, I always recommend your home, baby is most comfortable there, and the photos feel genuinely personal.

Wear what makes you feel like yourselves. I'll send you a simple style guide after booking, but the short version is: coordinate loosely (soft, neutral tones work beautifully), skip the logos, and prioritise comfort, especially for little ones.

Not even slightly. Running, climbing, giggling, sulking, that's real life, and real life makes the best photographs. I work in a completely candid, documentary style. No forced poses, no 'say cheese.' The best family photos happen when everyone forgets the camera is there.

Almost always in your home. Baby is most comfortable in their own space, feeds and naps happen when they need to, and the photos genuinely capture what your family looks like right now. All I need is a room with a decent window, everything else works around your life.

No. My approach is lifestyle newborn photography, unposed, no baskets or wraps or elaborate setups. Baby is photographed with you, in your home, exactly as they are. It suits parents who want photos that look like their family rather than a stylised studio look.

Usually 1–2 hours, but I don't clock-watch. Newborn sessions run at baby's pace, if we need to pause for a feed, change, or a settle, we do. Most sessions have plenty of time to include siblings and the wider family too.

Yes, absolutely. Sibling moments with a newborn are some of my favourite images to shoot, they change so quickly and the connection is worth capturing. Dogs, cats, and any other family members are welcome too.

Between 28 and 34 weeks is the sweet spot. Bump is beautifully round, you're still comfortable enough to walk and move, and you're not so close to your due date that we're racing the clock. If you're expecting twins or higher-order, aim closer to 24–28 weeks. Get in touch early and we'll pick a rough window.

Outdoor sessions work beautifully in Dublin, Herbert Park, Sandymount Strand, Phoenix Park, Bull Island, and the Wicklow foothills are all favourites. Golden-hour light is what we plan around. I also shoot in-home maternity sessions if you'd rather stay comfortable, or if the weather doesn't cooperate.

Simple, comfortable, and something that shows the shape of the bump. Fitted dresses, flowing skirts with a fitted top, or a bump-hugging jumper all work beautifully. Soft, neutral tones photograph best in Irish light. I send a full style guide once you've booked, and I have a small selection of dresses you're welcome to borrow if you'd like.

Absolutely. Sessions that include partners and older kids are often the most meaningful, they're the family that's about to change. Bring anyone who matters, including dogs.

The Bump Session runs about 45 minutes, more than enough time when you're 30 weeks pregnant. Your private online gallery is ready within 3–4 weeks, all images professionally edited, in full resolution, yours to print and share.

Family sessions start at €350 for The Mini (a 45-minute session in one location) or €500 for The Full Session (a longer session with more coverage and images). Wherever suits your family. Popular choices include Herbert Park, Phoenix Park, Sandymount Strand, Bull Island, Iveagh Gardens, and the Wicklow foothills. Or your own home and garden, which is especially good for younger children or in winter. If you've got a favourite spot, we'll shoot there.

The Mini runs about 45 minutes, plenty of time in one location with young kids who won't sit still for much longer. The Full Session runs closer to 90 minutes and allows for two locations or a change of scenery, which suits older kids or larger families.

Not a problem, at all. I shoot in a documentary style, so 'not cooperating' just becomes the photo. Running, climbing, refusing, giggling, sulking, that's real family life, and it makes far better photographs than forced smiles. I've never had a session that didn't produce beautiful images because a child wouldn't sit still.

Golden hour, roughly an hour before sunset, gives the softest and most flattering light and works beautifully in almost every Dublin location. For families with very young children or babies, morning sessions can also work well when everyone's fresh. We'll pick a time that suits your family's rhythm.
