A private session, with your photographs included

Family photography prices in Dublin are advertised in different ways: some include a small selection of digital images, others include the full edited gallery, and some are session fees with photographs purchased separately. Compare what you take home as well as the length of the session.

Our family sessions start at €350. Every package above includes your private session, its edited digital gallery, full-resolution files, print rights and Greater Dublin Area travel. There is no per-image purchase needed to download the photographs in your gallery. Prints and albums are optional.

Which family session suits us?

The Family Session, €350, gives you 45 minutes in one location and around 40 edited images. It is a simple choice for photographs together at home, in a park or on the beach, including families with younger children. This is a private booking at an agreed time and place.

The Full Session, €500, gives you 90 minutes, up to two locations and around 80 edited images. Choose it for extended families, more combinations of people or a wider variety of photographs. An outfit change is included if you would like one.

You do not need to choose the longer session just because your children are young. Tell me about your family and what you want to remember, and I will help you choose. A family portrait together can sit alongside the candid moments in either session.

Two sessions as your family grows

Bump to Baby, €650, combines the 45-minute maternity session with the at-home newborn session. It saves €100 compared with booking those sessions separately.

Newborn + Family, €650, combines a two-hour newborn session with a separate 45-minute family session when baby is 6–12 months old. It also saves €100 compared with booking separately.

Both bundles include around 90 edited images in total, across two galleries. Choose the stages you would like to remember; you can also book a single session.

Travel and delivery

Greater Dublin Area travel is included. For a location further afield, ask about your plans and we will agree any travel cost before you book.

Your family, newborn or maternity gallery is delivered within three to four weeks and stays online for twelve months. Your photographs are also held for twelve months after delivery. Download your photographs when they arrive and keep a copy of your own. Full-resolution files and print rights are included in every package.

How do you back up our photographs?

We use a 3-2-1 backup approach: three copies of your photographs, using SD cards and SSD storage, with one copy stored offsite in the cloud. This gives us multiple copies in separate places rather than relying on a single device.

How long will our gallery and photographs be kept?

Your private gallery is available for 12 months after delivery, and we hold your photographs for that period. Please download your photographs soon after you receive them and keep your own backup. Your downloaded files are yours to keep, print and share after the gallery closes.

Where do family sessions take place?

I shoot in locations that feel natural to your family, your home, a favourite park, the beach, Dublin's Georgian squares, or anywhere that has meaning for you. For newborn sessions, I always recommend your home, baby is most comfortable there, and the photos feel genuinely personal.

What should we wear?

Wear what makes you feel like yourselves. I'll send you a simple style guide after booking, but the short version is: coordinate loosely (soft, neutral tones work beautifully), skip the logos, and prioritise comfort, especially for little ones.

My kids won't sit still. Is that a problem?

Not even slightly. Running, climbing, giggling, sulking, that's real life, and real life makes the best photographs. I work in a completely candid, documentary style. No forced poses, no 'say cheese.' The best family photos happen when everyone forgets the camera is there.

How long until we get our photos?

Your private online gallery will be ready within 3–4 weeks. You'll receive all images professionally edited, in full resolution, with no watermarks and full print rights.

When is the best time for a newborn session?

The first two weeks are not a deadline for lifestyle newborn photographs. We can plan a session in the first weeks or at three, four or six weeks and beyond. Share your baby's age or due-date window and we will choose a date around your family.

Can we include pets?

Absolutely. Dogs, cats, the family goldfish, everyone is welcome. Some of my favourite family photos have four-legged family members in them.

What's included in the price?

Every session includes the shoot itself, professional editing of all images, a private online gallery, full-resolution digital files, and full print rights. No watermarks, no hidden fees. Prints and albums are available as optional extras.

Do you travel outside Dublin?

Yes! Greater Dublin Area travel is included in all packages. For locations further afield, I'm happy to travel anywhere in Ireland, just get in touch and we'll work it out.

What if it rains, someone is ill or our plans change?

Life happens. If weather, illness or family circumstances disrupt your session, we will work together to find another suitable date. Let me know as soon as you can. There is no pressure to go ahead when someone is unwell.

Does an enquiry commit us to a booking?

No. Ask a question or tell me roughly what you have in mind, and I will reply within 24 hours with availability and a session suggestion. Once we agree the details, a 25% deposit secures your booking.

Should we choose 45 or 90 minutes?

Choose the 45-minute Family Session for a straightforward session in one place, including families with younger children. Choose the 90-minute Full Session for extended families, two locations or more variety. You do not need to upgrade simply because your children are young; tell me what would make the session comfortable for them.
