How to Spend Wisely Whatever Your Budget
See full galleries, not portfolios. Anyone can pick their best 20 shots. A full gallery from a complete wedding tells you what you’re actually getting.
Meet them before you book. Personality matters. A photographer you feel comfortable around will get better photographs of you.
Read the contract. Understand what’s included, number of images, turnaround time, rights, cancellation terms.
Prioritise photography over décor. The centrepieces will be gone by midnight. Your photos will still be on your wall in ten years. If the budget is tight, this is the trade-off worth making.
